Medical translation services

You are calling in a medical translation agency because you are aware that a correct translation of medical documents is of high importance. LinQuake understands this as well and we will make sure that no expensive mistakes end up in your texts. We ensure that medical translations are exclusively carried out by specialised medical translators who have knowledge of the specific domain of the text. This way, you are assured of an understandable translation that correctly conveys the meaning of the source text. A translation that you can use without qualms.

Why choose LinQuake medical translation services?

In order to correctly translate a medical text, knowledge of medical subjects and terminology is required. Therefore LinQuake exclusively works with translators with a medical background when translating medical texts.

Moreover, because we work in accordance with the ISO 17100 standard for translation processes, we are able to assure that your medical translations will be of high quality. This means that, among other things, we always work with two translators. The first translator carries out the medical translation and the second translator then carries out a full revision of the translated text, making corrections where necessary. As an extra precaution, the project manager at LinQuake carries out a QA (Quality Assurance) using software that has been specially developed for this purpose.

Medical documents and fields of study

Professional knowledge, accuracy and attention to detail are essential to high-quality translations and especially to medical translation services. The more specific knowledge and experience the medical translators have, the better they will be able to translate your medical documents. That is why LinQuake will try to find the best match based on professional knowledge, whether it concerns user manuals for medical devices or medical scientific texts.

Examples of the various types of medical texts we translate:

  • Medical device user manuals
  • Autopsy reports
  • Medical scientific texts
  • Patient information leaflets

Feel free to contact us in order to discuss whether we can find the right solution for your request.

Sworn translations

You might need a sworn translation when translating medical documents. Or rather: a certified translation, that has been made by a sworn translator. Various officials and authorities in foreign countries or the Netherlands can ask for this. This could be the case when the following documents are to be translated:

  • Autopsy reports
  • Medical records
  • Medical statements

One of our sworn translators with medical knowledge will carry out your sworn medical translation. We will provide the signed translation with a declaration and a stamp from the translator. Then, the translation will be attached to a copy of the original document. Therefore, when requesting a sworn translation, you should take into account extra delivery time for delivery per mail.
